Ex-con busted for NYC subway fare evasion had loaded gun: cops

An ex-con busted for dodging the fare at a Brooklyn subway station was found to be carrying a loaded gun, police sources said Monday.

Dennis Jackson, 39, waltzed through the emergency exit gate in the Sutter Ave. L train station in Brownsville about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to sources.

Plainclothes transit officers stopped him to charge him with fare evasion then tacked on a gun possession charge after allegedly finding a loaded .32-caliber handgun inside his jacket’s left pocket, sources said.
